Light bulbs that can be used in my garage door opener
Chamberlain manufactured garage door openers are designed and tested to be used with size A19 incandescent light bulbs and similar sized compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. The light bulb cannot exceed 100 watts (W) for incandescent bulbs or 26W for CFL bulbs. The bulb used should not exceed 2.375" in diameter and 4.43" in length.
DO NOT use the following bulbs:
Bulbs exceeding 100W or 26W for CFL
Halogen bulbs
Short neck or specialty bulbs
LED bulbs, unless the model of LED bulb and model of garage door opener are listed on Product Bulletin: 9/1/17: LED Light Bulb Compatibility or list of LED bulb compatibility (The product bulletin is from 2017; the LED compatibility list is from 2014 so it may contain bulbs that are obsolete).
LED bulbs can cause interference with proper operation of remote controls.
