Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) is looking for a Senior Network Engineer who will be an integral part our global communication network engineering teams. The network architected and designed by this team enables Panasonic on flight communication growth at a large scale and is the IP foundation for our next generation satellite multimedia communication service.
In this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network. You are expected as an SME in the network knowledge domain. You are expected to design, evaluate and test Network, MPLS, Firewall, DDOS, Proxy, Content filter, traffic shaping, and security controller. You will create design, evaluation and test plan, and configuration standard document.
This is a Senior 12-months contract position, with possible extension or convert to permanent.
Skills and Qualifications
• More than 10 years of experience in network systems and network security engineering design, and implementation as applied to complex computing systems
• CCNP or CCNA 5+ years of network engineering or operation experience
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on core network, BGP, OSPF, QoS, MPLS and MPLS VPN
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on Palo Alto Firewall or Juniper SRX
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on Gigamon
• Strong hands-on experience on F5 (include iRule), and or Mikrotik
• Knowledge and experience of EVPN and VxLAN a plus
• Knowledge and experience of Python, Perl or other script languages a plus
• Experience in IT security, DDoS mitigation and auditing a plus
• Exceptional documentation skills that can clearly articulate technical designs, issues and constraints, procedures, and network assessments
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Strong analytical and problem determination/resolution skills
• Self-motivated, Self-Reliant, Self-Starting, Go-Getter, Attitude of ownership, and A strong desire to learn
• Works well in an engineering environment that requires communication and collaboration with fellow team members, and cross function teams
