Panasonic Avionics Corporation (PAC) has an opening for a Network Test and Test Automation Specialist located in Lake Forest, CA. This is a Network Engineer position in supporting PAC Global Communication Systems (GCS) Network lab test and test scripting development.
This is an Intermediate 12-months contract position, with possible extension or convert to permanent.
Job Responsibilities
• Support Principal/senior network architect/engineer create test plan
• Test network, firewall, ADC, traffic shaper devices function and performance, include new architecture proof of concept test, change procedure test, upgrade regression test
• Develop test automation scripts
• Create test report document
• Create configuration standard document
• Configuration and troubleshoot training to operation teams
Skills and Qualifications
• 5 years of experience in IT systems or network implementation or operation
• CCNP or CCNA 5+ years of network implementation or operation experience
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience on Ixia Ixnetwork/Ixload or Spirent STC test tools
• Knowledge and experience of Python, Perl or other script languages a plus
• Exceptional documentation skills that can clearly articulate test plan, test procedures, test report.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
• Strong analytical and problem determination/resolution skills
• Self-motivated, Self-Reliant, Self-Starting, Go-Getter, Attitude of ownership, and A strong desire to learn
• Works well in an engineering environment that requires communication and collaboration with fellow team members, and cross function teams
