省选是省政府，虽然加拿大是联邦制，其实省府没多大权限，移民难民基本上是省选边角问题，省府最大的权限主要就是医疗和教育两块。保守党这方面的政府与中产/底层是格格不入的。自由党与工会进行了强硬合理的谈判导致工会跑到了NDP。自由党是最合理最中间的选择。
