两面都要听听,看看team lead 的回复,天衣无缝。看了这封信是不是觉得他有道理? 然鹅,很多内部的事情只有经历了才知道,说不清。

To be a well functioning team means transparent 2-way communications. To be a well functioning lead means knowing ‘what/where/why’ everyone is doing. Like you, I try and do my best every day. Imagine for a moment when John Smith approached me this AM with a potential SharePoint P1 looming, as she needed the database restarted. As the primary SME, you hadn’t responded to their request yet, and both our backup SME’s were out of office. It left me scrambling - fortunately you DID respond as we prepared to call in the vendor in to assist.

This simply reinforces that we need better resource contingency when someone is unavailable. We are doing the best we can, with what we have. Believe me, this is just one of many things that keep me awake at night!

I’m a strong believer that management shouldn’t be so rigorous that people can’t work without personal and professional judgement. This includes many aspects of the job such as language, hours of work and general respect for our colleagues.

I fully respect the work you do on the team 三郎, all I ask for is transparent communications when time off or some other change in plan happens. I’m sure you would expect no less from me as well.

We can discuss more when you’re back in the office. Hope you have a restful weekend.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
