If you have at least one close friend in Edmonton, it will be fine. Or you have to get used to the loneliness living far from Chinese communities. OR if you could speak english very well to make close friends with white people. Loneliness might be a piece of cake but it's really important to have several friends with similar backgrounds to share info and to build your own network. These are especially important at the early stage in Canada. I doubt if you could make it as easily as in ON, BC or in Calgary. Just my personal thought, discuss welcomed.
