本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛After living here several years, i got more and more bills. and it became my burden to remember them until i dicided to creat a small excel file to manage them.
In the file, i list all the bills, their due days, pay days and amounts each month. also i record my bank statements here. In this way I know clearly how much money i gain/spend each month and I release the burden of remember the bills. also i don't worry about forgetting paying the bill.
I found this way helped me a lot, making life much simple for me. i always have a clear image of my expenditures since i use the excel file. and I can use my brain to think about many other things


for the bills and statments, I throw the envelops, put the contents in seperate folders and store them in a box at the end of each year. Surprisely, they are not as big as I expected. My 6 year bills and statments and paycheck stubs can be put in a small box. next year i will throw the records 6 year ago and put in this years record.
