Rogers Communications announced yesterday (3 April 2023) that it has completed its long-anticipated merger with Shaw Communications, which was first agreed in March 2021, creating a national cable, media and mobile operating company which brings together Rogers’ nationwide mobile network with the combined Rogers/Shaw coast-to-coast fixed networks, offering fibre-powered cable internet to nearly 70% of Canadian households.
