Dear George, it is so hard to give your useful suggestions

本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛Here is my way of thinking and making decision. Of course, I always hope I can succeed. I always do the following calculation: If I fail, how much will I lose?

Even if you have some deposits, I sugguest
work for 2-3 days each week before you get an IT job. Of course, if you have a big sum of money, you may go to the school directly.
By the way, if you want to become a Java guy by attending some training school, you are taking big risk.

I don't know how good your skill is. In Canada, if you do have strong skills in some field, it should be only an issue of time for you to get an IT job.

By the way, I think your resume organization is problematic. I suggest you get a Chinese IT friend around you and ask him/her to help you with modifying it. Definitely, you need to refine your resume because you got very few interviews.

I have ever been out of job before I became a programmer. During that time, I helped one of my friends to sell computers on weekend.
He paid me $100 each day and I cannot emphasize the importance of that money too much. Without income, the bank deposit was descreasing so fast!

For some people, it will take longer time to get a satisfactory life in Canada. This is not because they are stupid, or because they don't strive hard. The reason is simple: They are not so lucky. You have been in Canada juts for 2 months. You are still in the normal categories.更多精彩文章及讨论,请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
