Man, how could you take Egg's flatterings serious?

Indeed, my English writing is fraught with defects. I can summarize them as follows: 1) There are a lot of artificial sentences. Syntatically, ther are correct. But native English writers do not organize the sentences in the way I do. 2) There are a lot of minors, such as incorrect usage of verb phrases. The most recent example is I misused the verbal phrase " lay off". As I suggested Ji-Ang lay off his leader, I put it into the form " lay off her". This is a typical grammer mistake. ( I have already corrected it into "lay her off").

Frankly speaking, my writing is good enough because I can get myself across. Most of my postings in this forum are finished within a very short time and I have not spent any time refining them. In no case can I improve my writing to the extent that the articles in the Star are presented to its reader.

By the way, I have ever seen two persons' English postings in this forum, which are more descent than mine.
