Actually she's been there for more than 1 year and I had also gone there for several months, several times a year. I am working in Shanghai just because I can earn more money, much more than I can get there. I can understand your disappointment , same with us when we first landed there. However, I can assure you sooner or later, you will discover the beauty part of it, I don't mean natural beauty, that's out of the question, instead, you will realize freedom, fair, justice, trust, credit, etc we, as a matter of fact had not experienced quite often in our past life. And I can say the longer I stayed there, the better I learn and understand about it, the more I love Vancouver. However, I also feel pity that we have to separate apart just because of financial freedom, which is also very important, I have to admit. On the other hand, I love Shanghai. I grow up here, I can see the bright future of Shanghai, and there's no reason I can say bad words about it. Frankly speaking, we also live very comfortable life here. The question is, is physical wealth the only meaning of life? and do you have the confidence you can still enjoy such decent life after your 40s, 50s in Shanghai? you paid so much tax, but in case of sickness, what will be waiting for you and your family? and also think of kid's education...更多精彩文章及讨论，请光临枫下论坛 rolia.net
