本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛I made a few calls to some companies this morning who showed me their interest on my background before while I was still in the job market before I got layoff a few days ago. One IT team lead sitll remember me and we had a small chat over the phone talking about their possible opennings. He told me it is slowing down in their company as well. They have not received any new accounts yet so far this year, which I assume their existing man power should be enough to handle their old accounts. He told me it is quite rare for them to see no sales been made for a rather established software company like theirs at this time of a year.

I have to admit the whole market demand on new technology and new application is not as promising as the same time last year, which means less openning will be seen if their existing crew member don't quit. No matter what, I still strongly believe there are always positions available for those people who know something well.

Don't defeat ourselves so easily by the depression. We have to trust ourselves that we all can be somebody really good.

Let me use General Tso (左宗堂)'s words to end my talk "屡败屡战".
