If you are really good

David, you can find a C/C++ job if you are really good at VC++ or Unix C++. However,
Canadian companies are very picky! If you are a C++ guy, they hope you know some Java because now it is common to develop a project using Java and they may switch to Java solution. On the other hand, if you are a Java guy, they hope you have a strong C++ background. Otherwise, they may not trust your Java skills. In the IT industry, it is full of prejudice and misunderstading. We
developers know what C++ is good for and whatr Java is good for. But Companies, human resourse people, managers usually
screen the candidates according to some keey words. If you are a true expert in C++, I suggest you learn a little bit Java.

I met some poeple from China and they told me Java is useless. This simply means
China's IT falls behind...
Ask you a question: Are you sure your
C++ is good enough? Can you talk like an expert? I am not kidding.

Hope it helps
