Her first camp was a competitive swimming camp with swimming and dry-land training, very strict, no care package, only one phone call made to her during her two week's stay.
Second year, she went to two different camps, both are traditional.
I think for the coming many years, I will be sending her to the same camp , the same session because most of her camp friends would join the same session too.
Another reason for sending her to that particular camp is that I want her to get tougher. Throw her to this situation, to work within a group in a very rough environment, it is a good lesson for her to learn how to deal with difficult people. There are a few in her sessions and on the trip as well.
Most of her camp mates are from Ontario, but there are two girls from US and one from England for the whole 8 weeks.
