      You know what, first, I gave up my undergraduate study in U of T in business, then I gave up my CMA ( Certified Management Accounting) study, though I have already steped into the gate, then now, guess what happened? Finally, I choosed to study computer!!!!!!!!! Don't be surprised. To study a practical skill, is my new target. Sailor said, "Jia You Liang Tian Wan Qing, Bu Ru Bo Ji Zai Sheng". He always encourages me to change to IT. Without his continously encouragement, I will not be confident in making such a great change. You know, I am totally Art background, and I think I am an idiot in computer at the beginning, as I got so poor mark in former computer study. But now, I become more and more interested in computer, in E-Commerce. Because there are so many opportunities for those IT experts combined with business backgrounds. I mean, not only pure programming. For sure, programming is very hot here. But what I am interested in is, E-commerce.

      You know, now I am working in a local financial company, building my financial knowledge. ( Of course, improving my English comprehensive ability) Then, I will apply for next year's undergraduate program in computer science. I am interested in, U of Waterloo, U of Carleton, U of T, York U, U of Windsor. Wish me good luck.

      Why not e-mail me for a long time? Today is Thanks Giving's Saturday. It was a nice morning, but now, seems that it's going to rain soon. I am at home all day. Tomorrow will go out.

      Now, I begin to like here. Homesick is less and less. Everything becomes more and more familiar to me, most of the nice co-workers, new handsome boss, repeating routine work, crowded downtown office area, same bus route, several friendly bus drivers,
      comfortable shopping malls, Chinese supermarkets, delicious cheess cake, ,,, all of those daily little things. Always phone home and friends whenever miss them. ( So I have a big phone bill). The call rate here is much lower than China. It's $0.28 per minutes.

      Oh, yeah, tell you a good news. I just got my first Visa Card here, fr CIBC. I am so happy. Because I was refused by American Express, Bank of Nova Scotia, Bank of Montrea, and TD bank before, though I have a quite stable job for several mths. My another IT friend, she has a good IT job for more than half a year, but is also refused by these banks. Finally she got her Royal Bank's at the end of August. You know, credit is very important here, especially for new immigrants, when you want to buy a car, buy a house in the future, they will investigate your credit history. And Credit Card is one good way to show your credit. So I encourage you to apply for a credit card as soon as possible when you are here. Another way is to deposit a certain amount of money into the bank for at least one year, and you can't withdraw during this year. (I don't want to do that.)

      Another serious thing is, I began to read a book recommended by Jabber, our IT master, which is Core Java, foundermental I. As I just began, I haven't met many problems.
      Though I can't really digest it, I will try to read it several times, to help me understand it better.
