    问一下坛子里有哪位大侠经历过TN转H1b，而且是去Point of Entry人工激活的。因为我在H1b petition等候期出差，所以不能用自动转。除了H1b批准书、护照等还需要带什么文件？谢了！

        I also wanna do the switch from TN to H1B, can I just do it on the border between US and Mexico? Cuz I don't wanna fly or drive back to Toronto, kind of waste time and money...

          照例，每个Border都应该会做这些转换，但记得墨西哥人H1B和加拿大不同，要在领馆Stamp，所以可能Border不太熟悉怎么具体操作，建议你直接打电话给Border office。 我当时律师坚持我要回美驻加领事馆，我就直接打电话去Boarder，都很nice，他们会清楚告诉你能做不能做。
