Formal Complaint.
Attention City Councillors of Toronto:

I am a resident of Toronto writing to you today pertaining to Notice of Motion MM32.20.
“Supporting a Muslim Youth Fellowship internship program in Councillors’ Offices – by Councillor Neethan Shan, seconded by Councillor Mike Layton.”

My complaint is as follows:
The selection committee is not up to city council, it is up to a selection committee called “Dawa net” which is an Islamic Evangelism group where their entire intent is to convert people to their belief system.

This motion is religious bigotry and discriminatory in nature and does not reflect Equality within Human Rights and promotes the spreading of a singular religion, not providing equal opportunities to other religions or individuals within Toronto.

Your job does not include promoting a single religion or placing a single belief system ahead of others.

I will be filing a formal complaint with the Ontario Human Rights Commission if this motion passes.
