Cell Growth and Reproduction.

    • It's fairly easy to pick up those kinds of terminologies, they are mostly composed of prefixes and suffixes according to certain rules. I know 85% of the vocabulary because I have taken some courses in medical school,
but I never could get to use them, so don't worry, you won't need them.
      • binary?
        • It's just that for a while, I was interested in medical schools and wanted to get a M.D
          • Interesting! Is it very difficult to be a MD in the US/Canada? Do you know how long it will take? I never saw a Chinese from mainland to be a real MD in the US. Most are from HK or TW
            • It's extremely difficult. I took MCAT test, which is the hardest test I have ever seen(trust me, it's much harder than GRE).
It requires volunteer experience in North America. But the good thing is that it allows people from all backgrounds to get in. The investment is gonna be huge, in US usually it's at least 30,000 bucks a year just for tuition, and it takes at least 5 years just to finish the in-school education, that is before you take another 2-4 years residence in hospitals.
              • thanks for your reply. That's also what I found out. Just hope my children may accomplish it.
                • I'm sure they will, they stand a much better chance than the first gen immigrants. I saw lots of very very young chinese students in medical schools.
    • I know thirteen words.
    • this is not a fair representation, I only know about 60% if not less
