      • I didn't read through, but you are wrong at the second one. It should be 2.
        • Why? you can install 4 HDD/CDROMs to IDE. I think there is one controller on motherboard.
          • Unfortunatly ( or luckly), there are two. They are the master one and the secondary one.
            • Since almost 7-8 years ago, a PC can connect to 4 IDE devices.
              • But they are on 2 controllers. So 2 for each controller.

                  • Hmm, I think you are right. Those 2 are channels, not controllers. The 2 channels are on the same controller. I got my concept mixed up. Thank you for make that clear for me!
      • #4 is wrong, I think 2 slots make one Bank.
        • That's for SIMM. For DIMM, one slot can make one bank.
