    below is my backgroud:

    work experience:
    2 year's C & C++ under UNIX, have basic of OO programming.
    1 year's telecommunication, mainly on protocal CDMA.

    school experience:
    1 year's SQL server & Oracle & ODBC(learn in School , not attending project)

    Now I am interested in Java or WAP , and I hope to find a job on java or WAP or wireless programming in canada in the future.

    Do you think it reasonable?
    Can you give me some suggestion?

      My suggestion is that you should gather up some project experience and make yourself an expert in the field you are interested. If you are really good at some fields, you will have a lot of opportunites... I have ever met some IT guys: 1) Java guy who just write a few Applets; 2) Oracle guy who could only use Select, Delete, Update and Insert.... I don't hope you follow such examples.
