You wanna buy a car? Great!

After you buy a car, the very first thing you need to take care is to register it... But the prerequisite is that you have issured your car.

Before you talk your car issurance agent, be sure to learn some words.
Here are two: Comprehensive and Liability. All the car issurances fall into these two categories. Comprehensive means to cover both third-parties and yourself, while liability means to cover third parties only.

It is a piece of cake for those who have lived in Canada for a couple of years to handle insurances. However, I know most first-time car buyers have difficulties in understanding issurance terms. Usually, they ask advice from their Chinese countrymen. It seems they have understood everything, but they actually have great difficulties in talking issurance agents. Of course, if they get an agent who speak Mandarin, it is another story.
