That was in the school days and I was not that "city goer" type of person, so I think the best part of the trip, was taking the ferry from Italy to Greece, sleeping on the deck and watching the sun goes down.

Roma is a special city to visit, after Roma, you find our civilization history is not that great as the book said.

We have ancient palace exsisting with only hundreds year, Qing Dynasty, but in Roma you can visit a beautiful palace whic is more than 2k years old.
yes. I visited Forbidden City this May. I feel it's really dirty. If i was the emperor, I'd rather choose to live in Roma ruins. Maintainance is too poor.
