    • First download an IE, and then go to MS Windows Update. You should be able to find something like "IE Simplified Input Module". If I am not wrong, you will also be able to display Chinese in netscape. -bloor(不老); 2001-8-3 (#154604@0)

      Can you install a NetScape on your machine?
      If you do, you can download a trial version of NJstar from www.njstar.com, and then you can view and type into chinese. ( I meet the similar prob as you)

      I don't know why, but it seems that NJStar only works fine with NS but cause trouble with IE.
      If this way works, let me know, I can email you a full copy of NJStar.

      You may also try to log into your own machine( domain-> choose your own machine name) to see if then you can download and install the chinese font for IE.
