    Question about Visa application:

    I am now in Nanjing. The Natural
    Sciences and Engineering Research
    Council of Canada awarded me a visiting fellowship($37,000).They sent me a letter including a invitation letter to me and a letter to Canadian visa officer. In the letter to Canadian visa officer, they require the Canadian visa officer providing employment authorization and visas to me and my immediate family.
    My question is:
    Could I and my wife apply for visa together? Is it possible to be refused?
    Do you know any case like me? (The whole family apply for visas at the same time)
