    • Depends on how good your English is .
You can't expect to be a sale manager any longer in Canada (at least for the first few months) You can find job as office clerk if you are good at typing, proficient in MS word, Excel, PowerPoint, WordPerfect. You can also work as customer service representative in call centers. If you are the employee of P&G China, you will still be able to find similar position in P&G Canada (it is really generous for them to do so) . Most sales managers in those famouse foreign companies in China found it almost impossible for them to be the salesman Canada because of language barrier although they speak English all the time to their foreign coworkers in China .
      • Guest, cld u pls hint whom to be contacted in the 'generous' company? is there any vacancy available now? what about other international company?
        • As far as I know, P&G is the only one.
There may be some other generous companies. I know people from companies from Esso, Ford China, Canon, or other famous international companies who tried to find the same job in the same comanies in Canada, but failed, no matter how good they think their English is. You have to face the fact that, being salesman in this country means that you have to speak as fluent English as they do and have though understanding of their culture. Technical staff from big companies find it much easier to find the same positions in the same company like Ericson, Motorola, etc. As long as they have the required technical skills, their formal employers will provide them with the position.
