    • 买CONDO不用装修,HOUSE不知道。我最近才发现TORONTO的CONDO也不便宜,湖景的1BDRM+DEN一般都要30-40万。有个楼盘2million的已经SOLD.有钱的人真多,我好穷呀。

        • 我没有投资意识,只是想买一套自己住。前一阵有人说要出租湖景房,说是前两年十几万买的1BDRM+DEN,我最近才发现几乎找不到这个价格的。看起来有要存多几年钱了。:(

            the unit was too small for a family.

            My parents eventually settled for a loft unit.

            That first unit they saw is worth a quarter mill today...
            • 1 bdrm+den is suitable for a couple. Acutually, 2bdrm is better, but I have to spend more money on it. I don't want to spend over 500,000 bucks on the unit.
    • 无论房子还是公寓, 都是装修好了才卖的, 没有不装修的.
      买新房, 建筑商可以让你挑选一些装修的OPTIONS, 大部分OPTION是不加钱的, 有些OPTION (叫UPGRADE)是要加钱的, 都是明码标价没有暗箭的. 甚么是UPGRADE呢? 就是你要比STANDARD贵的材料. 比如加厚地毯什么的. 有些建筑商还允许你加一个BATHROOM. 这些钱就得自己加上去.

      买旧房, 如果对原来的装修不满意, 可以花钱做REMODELING. 这边的装修公司很职业, 不用你多费心.
      • Thanks for your reply. 哎呀,比国内就是好呀,这边同事装修房子一个个都要象监工一样在一边看着,还要去买材料,又要操心设计,又怕他们偷工减料。。。累着呢~

          什么时候才能实现就不知道了.
          • 在上海已经有装修好的房子卖了.只是众口难调啊. 这里给几个option,让人选的办法很不错.
          • 国内的房子从一次装修到位到毛胚房再回到一次到位,转了几轮了。现在应该是往一次到位转。
      • 真不错!我觉得在国内每装修一次就要脱一层皮,太烦了!
        • 在国内,如果你找真正专业的装修公司,应该就没那么辛苦。但要花多不少钱。
