工作学习 / IT技术讨论 / I got new problem. I got patch for video driver. But I can not mount my floppy driver in solaris8, who can help me to solve the problem? I used volcheck and df, but can't see floppy is mounted.

#volcheck
#df -k
you should be able to see /floppy/floppy0/<volname> is mounted

It's hard to say. What's the error message? Maybe you can try
1. restart daemon 'vold' and try again.2. kill 'vold' and use 'tar cvf /dev/diskette0 /etc/hosts' to see if the floppy works or not

There is no error messages after I used "Volcheck" and "df" command. I re-installed everything, it still does not work. Please help.
