    I just came back from CA institute on bloor street,
    Working for a CA firm within their designation is a must to enroll as a CA student. and I got a long long long list of those firms
    However, do you know how difficult for a newcome with no Canadian experience to find a job in those company
    I am frustrated, and decide to give up. I want to go to CGA now.
    do you have any suggestion. for our newcomer, Job is more important than career.

    • which one did you hit on? Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, or the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants? my understand is that there are only 7 firms in GTA that are still hiring, genreally -slimpiggy(瘦猪犹如插翅虎); 2001-8-30 {204} (#184907@0)
      there is a hiring freeze across the profession.

      I don't know the answer to this, though when you think about it: IF you can't get work as a CA student, why is that you can get a job as a CGA student?
      • I contacted the former. The reason I would like to chose CGA is I can enroll in CGA and get my CGA level right away -guest:ada; 2001-8-30 {201} (#184920@0)
        There are so many job post on the internet which need CGA student. If I chose CGA, I can be a student first. and then hunting a job. unlike CA, I need the job first, then I am qualified to enroll CA..
