Who knows status "06 Awaiting information from external source.Be patient" ?
My agent told me everybody would have the status befour geting LP. But I am afraid it is Background Check. My case is family class immigration. Somebody know it?

I really don't know that. I think if the processing time is reasonable, it is not background checking. And not too much this in family class.
