  • 枫下茶话 / 法律 / Two questions, 1, I plan to change my destination from Toronto to Montreal, any limitation? 2, According to Ontorio policy, I could apply for the government loan after living over 12 month in Ontorio. Is it right?
    • 1, You have to land in Toronto first, then go to Montreal. 2, yes.
      • Hi,Sailor! Are you sure that those 至尊宝 should land first in Tornoto then Montreal?
If 至尊宝 lands first in Tronto then go to Montreal, he or she can enjoy the welfare for the new comers in Montreal? Thanks!
        • Yes, I'm sure. 'cause I called CIC and asked them directly.
          • Thank you Sailor! What do you mean CIC?
            • You should know this word :-) CIC = Citizenship and Immigration Canada
              • Hi,Sailor! I have been to CIC website. Thanks again.
                • Hi, Woodese, would pls tell me the official site of CIC? Thanks in advance.
                  • You are wellcome. Here is CIC website: http://cicnet.ci.gc.ca/
                    • Hi, woodease, I visited the site, thanks. But the transfer from Toronta to Montreal seems complex since an extra application is a neccesary. Do you know how long the procedure will take?
                      • Who told you of extra-application. Someone said there is no need of extra-application.
                        • you are correct, Woodease. I got the intellegence from site of 王府.
      • Exceptions exist. Three of my friends landed in different locations rather than planned destinations . No difficulties encountered.
        • Hi,Old Horse! Any of your friends who are new federal immigrants landed within Quebe?
          • Yep. One of my friends planned coming to Toronto but went to Montreal instead. Another landed in Vancouver instead of Calgary.
            • Thank you, Old Horse!Consult with you more...
It is said that new federal immigrants needs CSQ(Quebec LP) besides the federal LP for landing in Quebec. Your friend applied this permission?
            • Thanks for your clarification, Sailor and Old horse, but I am not sure which one is correct? Any comments, pls...
              • Hi,perry, to my knowledge, you are able to land at anywhere during Canada without being restricted by the destination issued in your landing paper.
                • Thanks. I understand clearly.
