If u are not in a hurry u can hold on it until the Rational Rose 8.0, the beta version will be realeased recently.. Trust me :P

NO, But the Rose8.0 will save everthing as .xml file not as .mdl file. So I think it is ok. By the way, it is not hard to write a script get the class name and attributes
