      • same feeling to me.
          • if you want to hand out the free paper out of subway station, the same as thing just i do now, you need a maoku. or you needn't it. you know I didn' take it with me , so lend it for my job
            • it's a long time i haven't been here. i found someone post some message using my ID. i'm a drafter. i needn't send newspapers in subway station.
          • take a look at tiptop, I remember they have it at very resonable price. Eddie Bauer or Gap is good for men's wear too, depending on your preference.
                • men's haircut is only 6 to 10 $ in Chinatown.
          • yes. it's light and warm. my family is always using it here.
            • that's incredible. which brand and where you bought it? in summer it's only 20$.
              • the brand is TYR.
                • i.c., two most popular brands are TYR and Speedo, I don't see many TYR around in downtown, but there is one Speedo store at Bloor and Avenue. I guess yours must be very very fancy and beautiful.
      • No! I don't like the boxer-style briefs. I'm regretting hasn't brought an extra one of China-style swimming briefs.
      • don't worry, it can be found at Bay's men's department, Speedo, a little pricy, around $25.
      • You mean the furniture is cheap in Canada?!
    • Battery
any kinds of battery. its really sooooo expensive in canada!
      • you must be kidding. at a lot grocery stores and variety stores, 4 AA(5) batteries only cost 99 cents. take an in-depth look around before drawing any conclusion.
        • come on. don't mislead newcomers. the botton battery is really expensive compared to china. do you know that the battery industry in china is among the most advanced in the world?

      • how much is your dawn coat? I remember it usually costs less than 500 rmb, right? so it's still very cheap, and very useful if you live in places other than Vancouver.

          • it's amazing to know such waterproof coat is not available in China.
          • I guess I misunderstood your post. Dawn coat is somehow necessary for ladies.
          • No. I arrived in winter, need to walk ~20 minutes sometimes
I did not have a car for a long time. At first, I always put my feather coat on when I walked out. Then I felt it is not necessary cause I never feel cold. So I put my leather jacket (knee long, not thick) on instead, I did not feel cold either. I never wear my feather coat again, because I did not feel "sporty" in it.

If you are not so sure about yourself, you can bring some heavy coat here. Just don't spend too much money on it, cause you may abandon it quickly, especially after you have a car.
      • and if you just came this year, the winter hasn't really begun yet. in fact in my humble opinion, a good fleece and waterproof coat is enough as an outwear for a healthy man.
      • now i hand out the free paper out of subway station, so I am very interesting the temprature. I promise the lowest this winter in Torntor is -18. i mean it it report by pearson airport not the tmperature in forecast
in fact it it warmer than tinjing at the same temperature.
so i can stand exposure out of room about three hours.
does everyone has a idea of the climate in toronto?
    • Small satff purchased from IKEA which is simlar price as in China
    • None! For as little as $1000Cdn I bet you can get everything for your household need.
(It's just crazy some idiots went so far that they want bring furniture here). Read my lips, DON"T SPEND ANYTHING ON OUTWARE, doesn't matter how good they look back in China, here they just look plain dumb.
      • that can turn to a life experience lesson, haha.
