我想你似乎不会去买专业级的数码相机，那会介乎20k到50k之间（加元）。以我个人的使用经验推介如下：
1、2mega pix就足够了，除非你做商业用途。3mega比较浪费，而且相片占用空间会比较大。
2、品牌选择建议nikon,sony。nikon镜头比较专业，成品质量稳定，只是在新技术商比较保守，但这也是他们质量稳定的原因之一。sony会有比较多的专利技术，选择蔡司镜头的系列成相效果会非常有保证。kodak,olimpas,epson,cannon都有些小毛病，整体上略逊一筹。
3、CF无所谓，现在买128M的也不贵，如果、按照一般的存储相数大约有1500张了，你说够不够？

Just search "Digital photography" and type the brand name of the DC that you are interested, pick up the model you want and it will list all the price from the lowest one. The DC there is much cheaper than anywhere else, I am also gonna order one from there.
BTW, I am not sure about the shipping to CAN, you can go and check that. Good luck!

建议你买FUJI6900, 性价比不错,3百万象素,6倍光学变焦,就是噪点太多,拍]夜景不大适合,用SM卡,最高容量128M,中等质量的照片可以存250~60张,中等大小. -sargee(sargee); 2001-10-16 {221} (#226777@0)
或者O记2100,我刚买了一台,210万象素,10倍光学变焦,也用SM卡,体积太大.
再者,SONY707V或者CANON G2,都是新出机型,看拍出来的照片很不错.
以上价格都在500-700左右,都是中等水平的相机.你应该抓住你最想要的特征,色彩,还是变焦,或者小巧.
