I've heard of Rice Lake & Lake Ontario. I usually go fishing in private fish ponds ( for rainbow trout). There are lots of fish in these ponds. There is one 110km NW to Toronto, another 40km North to Toronto.

Oasis: It's affordable I think. The entry fee is less than a MacDonald meal (only $3/per rod). And it's guaranteed that one will get fish. It's good for beginer. In addition, no fishing license required.
