    I am trying to find a notebook which can fit my tight budget. Home Office recommands Acer TravelMate 350. ( I can't find that book in library again).
    My ideal configure is Pentium III 650, 128M SDRAM, 10-12G HD, 14' TFT. It seems the cheapest one is Sony Satellite 2800-C301. about 2700CND. Other alternatives includes Toshiba Terca 4340, IBM ThinkPad i series; Acer TravelMate 524TXV;Dell Inspiron 4000;Compaq Armada E500. Please give me some advice from your own experience about these computers, such as comfortability, long life of battery, heat dispersion, etc.

      Ivey uses a wireless networking system where each student has his owm
      laptop to get connected. BUT, the compatibility of your laptop to the
      network is subtle. Some laptop won't be suitable anyway. You can call
      the IT Support to find recommand laptops. *Only* those recommanded laptops
      work well in Ivey. If you endup with a Thinkpad, you can find an IBMer
      from this forum. IBMer has special offer when buy IBM products.
