I wonder where you got this idea. Just try pay tips to Brick or Sears delivery guys see if they dare to acccep it or not. We are talking about general rules in North America, not the rules in chinese community.

"from a native canadian" ? no wonder why .that's Canadian Indians! For free delivery, you may tip them,but not necessary for paid delivery. Remenber ,learn from "mainstream", not the "natives"
