    Happy New year,jabber. Here are my concerns:

    1.My english is not bad,but not very good.Your english is much better than me.

    2.I am a programmer for years but I only have done one project using java till now.We use Jsp,bean,Visibroker for java,oracle,sun unix,iplanet server. I just have knowledge of ejb,xml,uml,weblogic,websphere. I studied these by myself. I can make examples of this products work but have no real project on these stuff. But this year's situation in canada is bad,not good and my boss(in china) ask me stay to do another project using ejb,websphere,db2.

    What's your option? Should I go now(maybe canot find a job within 6 months) or stay 4 months more to have more experience(my visa will expire on 6.27,but maybe it is more difficult to find a job because more prople come to Canada)

      本文发表在 rolia.net 枫下论坛It seems to me you have some true experiences.If your landing paper expiration date is still early, I suggest you join that EJB project in China.
      This will help you a lot! As you know, Chinese programmer's repuation in Canada is getting worse and worse. So job hunting is becoming more challenging. Java is easy to pick up, but one needs time to get experienced. The project you mentioned will use some hot technologies
      so I think it is worthwilhe for you to be involved.

      On the other hand, I suggest you go to some language school and learn
      conversational English. More ready before you come, the easier for you
      to be rooted in Canada. Please do not think your English will be automatically improved onece you come to Canada. You may force yourself to watch English programm on CCTV channel-2 or 4.

      Even Canada's job market is getting tighter, I think you can still get a job there. Me too. So it is a personal preference for you to make a decision.
      I am aged and used to think about thing in a conservative way. My suggestion is based upon my conservative thinking.

        Our company have another project using ariba. I can choose one of these two project to join. But I have order tickets(2.15) before I know these things, so I resigned yesterday. I know you are right and I hope I donot regret my decison in the future. If I have got your advice early, Maybe I would have made another decision.
