    it is a stupid question, please forgive my ignorance and thank you for your time.

    if I remember correctly, I should go to ACCESORIES, then system tools, then BACKUP and RESTORE, but why I can't find this command in my computer? ( my computer WINDOWS ME).

    my friend gave me some floppy disks containing some .BAK files, how can I restore them? why can't I restore them on his computer?( his computer WINDOWS 98)

    • i can not find the commands of 'Buckup and Restore' as you have not install them -danieldu(天马行空); 2001-11-3 {275} (#247618@0)
      those your friend gave you depend what kind of software he or she use.In my memory,the files the DOS command of Buckup creates are like *.bak,*.001,*.002. I have not use the that command in Windows version. but you can try that command after you have install that two tools.
