        win2000server,Oracle 8.1.5,启动dba studio后，选“以独立模式启动dba studio”没问题，而选“登录到Oracle Management Server”时出错，提示信息如下：“vtk-100:无法连接到managenet server.请验证你已输入Oracle Management Server的正确主机名和状态。”主机名和状态都没错。

          Can you select from the SMP_VDU_PRINCIPALS_TABLE (in particular, SELECT principal_name FROM smp_vdu_principals_table). This will give you the name of valid EM administrators.

          If you cannot select from this table, you do not have a valid repository (in which case you can run the EM configuration assistant to create a new one).

      Step1. Install OMS(oracle management server)
      If you have installed the OMS,you will have a service called OracleXXXManagementServer in NT/2000,where XXX is the Oracle Home name.
      Step2. Create a repository using OEM Configuration Assistant.
      Step3. Start the OMS.
      Then you can start DBA studio through OMS.
