一家三口，女儿小学5年级。准备2月初到达多伦多，想租一套房栖身。从网上查，two-bed room apartment 都在每月$1000左右，看了让人胆战心惊，我们并不是大款，还要吃饭坐车。我想住处离学校不远，交通方便，其他设施也尽可能方便，有利于暂时生活和找工作，由于我一家三口英语都还不错，可以交流，非华人社区是否也有可能找合适房源？对于house、apartment 或者其它类型住房哪种对我们合适没有把握，适合三口之家的、每月$500~700的房（希望能带独立厨房卫生间）是否有可能找到？最主要的是希望邻近理想的学校，孩子以后也不要老转学（对了，加拿大小学转入时必须要中国原学校的转学证吗？我不太想办行吗？），我这样的要求不会是梦想吧？真希望各位先行者能够指导一二，谁有合适房源也请告诉我，谢谢！e-mail: iamsillyman@263.net

In winter time, rent will be a bit low. But according to your requirements, it shall be 700-900. I believe a basement (with two rooms) will be best for you. I don't think you will need notorized school-transfer here. Usually people here are nice, willing to believe what you tell them. For those not-critical things, they will not make trouble.

700-900 for 2-room basement. In my area (Scarborough, McCowan - Finch), 750 is the currrent fair price for 2-room basement. In more downtown area, it could be 850. (usually hydro is included). -maile(FinchEast); 2001-11-9 (#256317@0)

租HOUSE有BASEMENT(TWO BEDROOM,1 LIVING ROOM,800独立厨卫),FIRST FLOOR(ONE BEDROOM,LIVING ROOM,独立厨卫 900-1050),MAIN FLOOR(1050--).不想和人SHARE 肯定房租>=$800.我指我们这片.
我女儿上学只提供了免疫证明和房东的证明.以为她是上学前班.这个学校(STELLESVIEW PUBLIC SCHOOL相当好,连JK班还有作业,每周和家长联系.上中学有名校A.Y.JACKSON<有可能拼写错误>也在附近走路10分钟吧)
