  • 工作学习 / IT杂谈 / Hi ! jabber, how do you think the Jive on http://www.coolservlets.com? do you think it is a better way to learn JSP and J2EE to study the jive source code and if I master the source code do you think I can find a job in CA?
    • Sure, it's a good idea.
However, I still suggest you try WebLogic 6.0 and IBM Webspehere 3.5.
Of course, it is difficult for you to run WebSphere at home. In addition, Jakarta-tomcat deserves your test-driving. The more you know, the future your career is. In IT industry, you need learn those influential softwares.
Employers are very stubborn. If they want to hire a person handle Weblogic, they won't trust you because you are an expert in using Jive.

If I were you, I would first try Jive and then migrate all of its examples to
      Tomcat and weblogic.
      • Thank you very much. now I have been using weblogic 5.1 and have installed jive on it. I do not know which is better for me to use weblogic 5.1.0 or 6.0?
        • I strongly encourage you to use Weblogic 6.0. The configuration of WebLogic 5.1 will be abandoned soon.
