    今天早晨收到国内朋友的来信，告诉我一个原来的同事的孩子辍学。
    这个男孩今年上初三，由于升学压力，现在辍学在家，并有自杀倾向，父母全天陪同。现在男孩白天看电视，晚上到办公室打RED ALLERT。
    所以，我认为来CANADA的移民朋友们不要让孩子再回国内接受教育，给孩子一个健康的童年。
    第二个原因，我认为孩子应该在CANADA接受教育的原因是：就让孩子成为一个加人吧。我们现在已经感受到东西方文化的差异，不尴不尬的适应这个新社会，为啥孩子以后还要承受这种压力呢？
    当然，有些父母由于工作等原因，也是迫不得已将孩子放在国内。

            Maybe you can make your own child remember China, are you sure you can do the same thing to your grandson, or son of grandson.
            I do not know, i feel confused. We Chinese immigrant are afraid to forget our chinese tradition and culture while we make the decision to immigrant to Canada.

              Look at those Jews, they are all over the world but they keep their culture very well (except in China).

            作为父母，能做也就是给小孩一定的引导，一些实例化的家庭教育（比如，风筝家里过中秋节，就是为了让小孩知道中国有这个节日）。至于小孩能接受多少，到底是哪国人，这些全部是他自己的选择。做父母的何必那么介意，无论他是哪国人，是你的孩子不就得了。

          Many people (kids of Chinese) do not think "Chinese" is a decent community, and refuse to speak Chinese , even refuse to stand together with Chinese, think about Adrienne Clarkson.
          It 's a cold and sad truth.
          Every time I take part in party in Vancouver, I always can find some kids refuse to speak Chinese, it really hurt my heart.
          There should be some book & theory to tell the Chinese parents how to answer their kids question about Chinese story , instead of only things they can read about China is "Free Tibet" & "6.4" & "FLG" & "CCP"
