rand mcnally has road atlas for the whole north america, excellent, including maps for all major cities and their downtowns, less than 15 bucks at Kmart.

Not recommended. If you live in Toronto and may find a job in this area, you definitely need a more detailed atlas, which shows the exact location of every tiny street that you may visit. Get a MapArt 2001 Edition.

I prefer MapArt. If you don't have a car, and you move within the city of Toronto, I suggest you use 单张纸折叠几次的那种. It's light-weighted, and has the same detail as the Atlas. If you go out of Toronto, the "Golden Horse Shoe" atlas is the best.
