is a misunderstanding that canada's engineering market is that bad. as a matter of fact, ALL my schollmates/colleagues finad engineering job in therir OWN majors (mechanical, aerospace...) throughout Ontario.

well, civil engr is in general a harder field for job hunters, but it is also related to maufacturing, mechanical, industrial design,...you know, here nothing is easy, as long as you stick to your goal and adapt yourself rapidly into local job market, chances are there.
