First. Algebra is mandatory for high school and undergrad. So I still don't know whether you are going into undergrad or master. Second, UW hardly accept January admission. What program are you going to do in UW?

you need to take lots of course in WLU o... It's quite late for you to apply residence now, I think. But you can still call housing to see whether they have rooms avialable. I'm going to be in V1 for the January term.

We have three student Villages, V1, V2 (Ron Eypt), V3(mackazine King) << (sorry for my spelling). St. Jeorme College and other two collge. Colleges have very small residence. more fun to live in village.

1A, you take classical algebra. 1B linear algebra I. But I found classical algebra is much harder than linear algebra. 2A Linear Algebra II. And that's all the mandatory algebra courses.

linear algebra . After receiving my course descriptions of my university, they asked me whether I ever took linear algebra. I replied no, then I was asked to take it.
