  • 工作学习 / IT杂谈 / what's the salary range for a programmer on the current market? Some data , such as 20K, 30K, really scares me. :-(
    • There is a voting on Rolia in July(?) regarding the incomes. But no data for current marketing

      • Statistics does not make much sense
First of all, I have to say I am in the United States and my figues do not indicate anything.

We hired a Java programmer 2 months ago. We gave him a salary of $95K, whcich is $5000 higher than his old salary. Last week, I secured another job offer for a Chinese guy. His is salary is $77.5K, which is $10K lower than his old salary. However, we promised him $10K bonus so as to "match" his old salary. But there are some questions: 1) Can our company survive to issue a bonus to him? 2) Will he stay with us for a long time so that he can get the bonus?

How high the salaryt is does not make big difference. However, whether you have an income or not makes a big difference.

Generally speaking, the US economy has not yet reached its bottom. The employer has not yet taken measures to reduce the salary significantly.
