You put a plastic tape on top of the metropass and then sign on the plastic tape. If your wife/husband/kids need to use it, remove the plastic tape and put another one. So you save money by letting everyone use it.

metropass isn't good in winter, but you can go out on weekend and after work in summer. also you can take year metropass, only $86/month

Don't be silly. The previous time when TTC increased the price, they asked all the customers to exchange the tickets in one month -- even bad, the exchanging service was avaliable only Mon.-Fri. during working hours.
