    If I go to waterhouse, do they recommend some MF or stocks for me? but I can't get an overview of risks and benefits. Please give me some advice. Thanks

        Comment: Easy to read, well laid out, good chapter names and good headers throughout the chapters.

        Learn to Earn: A Beginner's Guide to the Basics of Investing and Business by Peter Lynch and John Rothchild (ISBN: 0471180033, $30.45).
        Comment: For beginning investors.


        Bogle on Mutual Funds by John Bogle (ISBN: 1556238606, $27.96).
        and
        The Future for Investors by Jeremy Siegel (ISBN: 140008198X, $27.96).
        Comment: An investor who has read either or both of The Future for Investors or Bogle on Mutual Funds would be prepared to do well in investing in the U.S. markets.
