www.hakimoptical.ca, They offer student 25%discount and 30$one-time discount(I still have one full coupon if you need it). I just got a new pair of glasses from them.
lenscraft also offers 70$ discount, but 25% is a lot for full set of glasses.

I have no choice for anything under 300 'cuz my prescription is really really high(nikon4 or 5), sigh. But the one my husband got was with frame from famous brand name and 100$cheaper than mine, and he even got $100 refund from insurance company. :-(

eye examination is free for every two years in Ontario. However in Quebec it's at least 35$.
