I installed Web Logic in my computer and am not sure it is necessary to
install java sdk as well. I browse the bea web logic's offical site and
it said the web logic application server is base on J2EE and do not show
clearly it must be install java sdk or it is already integrated it.
Someone can answer my confusion?

to run wls, JDK is not necessary.

you can install the latest SUN JDK 1.4 but BEA do not guarantee that JVM is best supported
